I want to know when someone is interested to invest in my business what all should I look for.
Two very important things you should keep in mind:
Whether your sources are reliable or not, and do they social proof or not.
They must have a competitive edge so that they can contribute to your business growth.
The first thing to look for is whether your investors are reliable or not.
Recognize first and foremost that you are choosing a partner, not money. People are differentiable, money is not. You need to go in with this mindset and imagine yourself spending significant time with this person.
While closing a VC-led investment this month, I learned to focus on three key factors when searching for investors: domain, demand and delivery.
Check for the structure of the investment
Check the liquidity ratio of the company which is ready to invest
Check the past year market share of the company
check the trust worthiness of the company
Before taking any decision about taking or leaving the investment. Keep the following things clear in mind.
1)Sometimes investment did not deliver the expected results so careful selection of investment is very important.
2)Brief study needed of the project for proper analysis of the amount and type of investment selection.
3)The analysis is needed to ensure the ROI as per the investment.
4)A brief study of terms and conditions in order to reduce the risk factor.
